BetterYale

In Spring 2025, I was invited to become the visuals lead as part of the communications team for BetterYale, a campaign for the positions of Yale student body President & VP by Diego Paz and Emily Nguyen. My role included establishing the color palette, font type, logo, and all media & print communications for the campaign. I also helped consult the campaign on ideating shortform video content and events.

Initial logo designs for the campaign, where we focused on establishing key colors and accents—while blue was the typical choice by most Yale candidates, we also focused on creating accent colors of Brown and Beige for more design flexibility.
We then changed the font to Clash Display, which was bolder and also more coherent for future use. However, we kept the leaf motif as a key symbol — we wanted the campus, like a tree, to grow with us.
