Hi! I’m Mercuri, an Art History and Food Studies student at Yale University, currently based in New York. I serve as PR Coordinator for the Yale Women’s Center, president of the Yale World Tea Association, design director for WYBCx (Yale radio), BR!NK, and The Yale Herald, The New Journal, as well as social chair for Asterisk* and Paprika! My work focuses on community and gathering, using design as a means to forge connection with others.

Sumud Coalition ✺

In Fall 2024, I joined Sumud Coalition, an undergraduate activism organization at Yale University for divestment from arms manufacturing and investment into Middle Eastern studies and resources. I created zines, social media posts, and flyers that reached 14k+ instagram followers as well as students on campus. The zine pictured here was printed over 400 times during the referendum campaign pushing for Yale to disclose their investments, and the vote passed with flying colors in December of 2024. Furthermore, I was able to establish a coherent visuals guideline for posts.
